Every night for the past three months I have slept quite poorly.  It took me quite a while to realize why.  For one thing, I got married so I had to get used to sleeping with someone and not having my own space.  Even when I shared a bed with cousins I always had my side and they had their side.  The boundaries were not crossed!  Still, I gave myself a month to get used to sleeping next to a twitching furnace and noticed a slight improvement.  It still wasn't what I wanted though, so when I did wake in the middle of the night I tried to notice a pattern.

A couple weeks ago I finally figured out what was causing my minor sleep apnea.  But first, a little background for reference.

Time for Reflection: A wedding, a baby, and one bad spider bite!

Since my last post quite a bit has happened.  Here is a short summary of all the recent events leading up to today.

8/7/2013:  I was invited to attend Caitlyn Violands' Rehearsal Dinner and my mother was my +1 since my husband couldn't make it.   The food was delicious and I saw a couple people from high school.  We ignored each other and it was fine.

An Unexpected Sleepover

Eric left early Monday morning for a 5 day hiking trip in the Uinta Mountains with my dad leaving me all alone.  Krysta, his sister, and I had this brilliant idea that after her work she would come hang out with me for a couple hours since she works at the U.  So at 2 pm I picked her up and we proceeded to my place where we watched several hours of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Around 6 we went to Arby's for dinner then returned to watch more Buffy.  Finally, at 9:30 pm we leave the apartment so that I could take her to the Trax station.

Recently, Eric and I watched an episode of The Bachelorette (Eric, btw, thoroughly enjoys the drama and is just as excited for the finale as I am).  I figured while we were watching we could write some more of out Thank You cards for the wedding gifts.  After 30 mins, I checked on Eric's progress.

My Bridals were taken by Dan and Anna Seethaler (http://www.dannaphotos.com/)  They were taken at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple where Eric and I were later sealed.  My colors were Light Gray, Dark Gray, Mango (yellow-orangeish), Amethyst, and Dark Amethyst.  :)

Next week my husband is going on a 5 day hiking trip with my father.  It just so happens that I have some hiking pants that work really well and my dad wanted to know if Eric would fit in them...So he tried them on...

We were blessed with sunshine the whole time except for about 3 minutes in the middle when it rained a little.  Eric and I even got sunburns!  Such a blessing for us to have nice weather!

"How does she do that?"

While driving, Rihanna's new song, 'Right Now' started playing on the radio.  This song both irritated and amused me so I decided to dedicate an entire post to it.  :) This was my experience and I thought it would be nice to use a few memes to help you experience it as well.

This morning I woke up at 8:40 am and forced myself to get up and go to a local free 9:00 am Zumba class held at our church.  I panicked thinking I was going to be late (understandably, in my half asleep panicked state I put my workout pants on backwards...Don't judge me!) so I did not leave a note for Eric and I forgot my phone.

The Tales of Lake Powell

We have returned from our 7 day journey into the land of Lake Powell.  While I did indeed tan I did not get as dark as I would have liked but that is okay because it lowers my chance of skin cancer, right?

The whole trip was mainly uneventful.  We had the occasional freak storm that threatened to destroy us but that too passed eventually.  It was quite unnerving that the wind storm would hit between 4 and 5 pm every day until Mondayish.  My father re-injured his toe (the one he broke last time in Lake Powell) but succeeded in skiing.  There was a lot of swimming and hiking and exploring and reading and ipad/phone game playing that occupied the rest of us.  Eric built an epic sandcastle twice and my aunt and mother built Oompa Loompa Land, but that is another story...Instead, here are two other stories :)

"New Bed!!!"

This moment feels like the scene in Toy Story 3 where the toys fall out of the donation box into Sunnyside and all the Sunnyside toys scream, "New Toys!!!"  (Don't think too much about it there isn't a betrayal or terrifying plot involved...just the basic excitement, people!)

Today is the day the furniture is supposed to arrive!

In preparation we cleaned our bedroom and cut the carpet we borrowed from his parents into a nice square and tackled the closet of White Garbage Bags.  While pulling down the bags I kept looking at Eric asking what is inside this (he didn't label them like I did...).

"Sleeping bags...winter clothes...my old twelve years old bedding...baby blankets...and at one point he said:

"Leave the Duck alone!!!" Oh, Furniture!

Do any of you remember that part in The RM where Jared is sharing that hotel room with the weird guy? And in the middle of the night the guy starts spazzing and eventually punches his bed while Jared flees for his life?  This is the best video I could find for it...(Even now it is hilarious!)

Today, I woke up and did the dishes that I forgot to do last night.  RuthMom called to let us know that she was fine (she had to have her appendix removed last night...yuck!).  Then I impressed myself when I decided to go for a jog... 

And I did... (a small one, of course, I have to build up my 'muscles')

And while I was on my small jog around the 500 court circle I noticed that someone had moved into one of the laundry mats/storage areas.

Recently I became a wife, but not just any wife-a sheep's wife.  No, I didn't marry a sheep nor would I want to.  Let me explain...

A long time ago, back in 2012 I moved to a single's ward where I saw Eric for the first time.  Snap, I wouldn't mind marrying that guy.  I shall go talk to him, flirt like a pro and he shall be so captivated and smitten that he will marry me on the spot. :)  So I did.  I fought every bone in my shy body and tried to talk and flirt with him after church.
